Born and raised in Seattle fashion has always figured heavily in my life. I am a product of perocial school uniforms, mid-90s grunge rock, and baby-boomer parents. I favor color, print and a tailored fit in my designs. However, I pride myself in my ability to design for anyone, any style, any occasion. From trending to sketching to construction I do it all and love each step of the process.
I take my influences from: Dior's New Look, early 17th century regency, Liberty of London, Marimekko, Valentino, Carolina Herrera, the world of architecture, modernism, mid-century modern, Scandesign, Impressionism, Art Deco, Art Neuvo, street culture, theater, nature: especially flora... and music. I always have music on when I'm designing and feel that the mood evoked from a song/band/album/playlist comes out in many of my ideas.
