the elements...part one

A family friend asked if I could design some costumes that would represent the four elements of nature for her daughter's wedding. The requirements were that the costumes be theatrical and washable. These are my concept boards with sketches for Air and Earth. These two costumes are to be worn by three year olds and it was a bit of a challenge to design something that would be theatrical enough for the ceremony but also wearable for the reception.

I was informed that Air will be a little boy. Yes, boys can wear dresses but just in case he doesn't want to I have devised this option.
